Learn a protocol to add to your current treatment which will address the many symptoms associated with vagus nerve problems.

Reflex therapy stimulation of Vagus nerve, is a promising treatment for immune response, digestion, pulse, breathing problems, depression, psychiatric conditions such as mood and anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and inflammatory bowel disease.

The vagus nerve represents the main component of the parasympathetic nervous system, which takes care of a variety of important body functions.

The Vagus nerve establishes the connections between the brain and the gastrointestinal tract and transmits information of the condition of the internal organs to the brain via afferent fibers.

This course offers theory as well as various Reflex therapy protocols so that by stimulating reflex zones and points from the face and feet, it can normalise functions of the Vagus nerve.

  • Learn the theory and practical application of Vagus Nerve Stimulation
  • The protocol includes stimulation on the appropriate areas and points of the face, feet and ears
  • Earn a CPD certificate awarded by The International Reflexology Institute

The vagus nerve is a long nerve which begins in the brain stem and connects with all the vital organs of the body. It has an important influence in how we feel in our own body and in the processing of emotions. It is a big part of our gut-brain communication system.

There can be many symptoms associated with a vagus nerve issue. Because it is so long and passes through many different  body organs and systems, individual symptoms will vary depending on what part of the nerve is under pressure / damaged.

Some common symptoms are:

  • Difficulty speaking / lowering of the voice
  • Loss of gag reflex
  • Inner ear pain
  • Unstable heart rate / blood pressure
  • Decreased stomach acid production / nausea / vomiting
  • Abdominal bloating or pain
  • Feelings of low mood
  • Memory issues / fainting, trembling or or getting diary at the sight of blood
  • Anxiety
  • Tinnitus

The list goes on and on……

Clearly we can see that the vagus nerve is an important one to keep supported and regulated to help keep overall balance in many body systems.

Neuro Reflexology Vagus Therapy to the face, ears and feet is a specialised protocol to reach all of the vital organs, nerves and systems to regulate the vagus nerve and all its associated functions.

It is a lovely, relaxing therapy with powerful results inside the body and brain.

For those clients with diagnosed vagus nerve issues a course of treatment would be recommended for results. For those seeking to keep a healthy system supported as a preventative and general health support, having a treatment once a month will be of great help in your clients health management plan.
