We get asked this age old question frequently:

What is the difference between a serum and a moisturiser?

It’s really not an either/or situation, they do two very different things for the skin.

Serum

A serum has a thinner consistency that contains a higher percentage of active ingredients in it. We want those active ingredients delivered deep down into the skin and that is why a serum comes in that thinner consistency.

So in a nutshell, a serum delivers deep down into the skins layers to do corrective work where its needed.

Moisturiser

Where as a moisturiser concentrates much more on the superficial layers of the skin which is all about protection, repair, replenishing and conditioning the skin on the very surface level.
